Leading business advisory firm Grant Thornton has appointed GRAHAM to deliver the Interior fit-out of its new Belfast office as part of a seven figure investment by the firm.
The professional services firm will occupy the third floor of the landmark Danske Bank building on Donegall Square West in Belfast city centre from November.
The refit of the 13,000 sq ft space will provide Grade A office accommodation for Grant Thornton’s growing team, and is one of the largest office projects undertaken in the city this year.
The state-of-the-art facilities, designed by Todd Architects, will feature a largely open plan office with smaller call booths and collaboration booths throughout, creating an additional space for client and staff meetings.
The floor will also include eight further meeting rooms, a relaxed client seating area and a library.
Richard Gillan, Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Northern Ireland, said:
“We are delighted to have appointed GRAHAM as the main contractor on the refit of our new office at the Danske Bank building.
“Over the last two years we’ve witnessed remarkable growth across all business streams at Grant Thornton. We’ve doubled our revenues and remain very optimistic about the future.
“Our move to this iconic building on Donegall Square reflects that confidence, and will provide a fitting and professional environment that will help facilitate our continued expansion.”
“It was important to us to have a mix of open plan and collaboration areas. We are a large team and the layout of the new offices will help us communicate internally and with clients in an open, welcoming and professional environment.”
Works will also include the erection of new Grant Thornton signage on the exterior of the building.
Mark Gibson, of GRAHAM added:
“The fit-out of Grant Thornton’s new office space in the Danske Bank building represents one of the most exciting office projects in Belfast this year.
“The creation of modern, open facilities that also satisfy a requirement for more intimate settings will deliver a dynamic and functional working environment.”
Danske Bank announced plans last year to let out two floors at its Belfast headquarters.
