An impressive £3,000 has been raised by leading IT and telecommunications provider, b4b Group, for its Charity Partner Hope 4 Life NI at its annual Golf Day.

With over 50 golfers at Galgorm Castle Golf Club, including staff, clients and friends of the businesses taking part on the day, the funds raised will go a long way to assisting the charity to deliver invaluable programmes to support the mental wellbeing of individuals across Northern Ireland.

David Armstrong, CEO of b4b Group, said:

“This year’s golf fundraiser was a huge success, showcasing our steadfast dedication to supporting Hope 4 Life NI as it strives to positively impact and enhance the lives of the people it works with by providing vital mental health services.

“A big thank you must go to our attendees, sponsors, and everyone that donated for making this possible and raising such an incredible amount.

“As a team, we are passionate about making a difference to our community, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to once again raise funds and awareness for a very meaningful cause.”

Hope 4 Life NI offers a range of services, including its flagship programme, Uberheroes®, which plays a vital role in prevention and early intervention of the mental health of young people and children.

Other programmes from Hope 4 Life NI include adult training, Wellness Recovery Action Plan, Mental Health First Aid and 11 bespoke mental health and wellbeing training programmes.

The event was sponsored by Exertis and MTX, with associate sponsors Pragma, Zest 4 and Tower Leasing.

Dee Nixon, CEO & Creative Programme Director of Hope 4 Life NI said:

“We are incredibly grateful to b4b Group for its ongoing commitment to raising awareness and financial support for Hope 4 Life NI.

“Northern Ireland has the highest rate of suicide in the UK and with more than 20% of young people suffering from significant mental health problems by their 18th birthday we rely on organisations like b4b Group to enable Hope 4 Life NI to continue to provide necessary and crucial support for our local young people.

“Thank you again to b4b Group, the sponsors and everyone who participated in their annual Golf Day for their incredible interest in our work and generosity.”
